Casino Rueda *bootcamp course*.Casino Rueda was developed in Havana, Cuba in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s. This style is taught by paring dancers to form a circle, or wheel (rueda) of partners dancing in unison in response to the calls of the leader in the group. “Calls” in a Rueda include turn patterns, footwork sequences, and various games. You will find this form of dance to be joyful and a social opportunity full with, creativity, playfulness, surprise, improvisation, connection with your partner, and most importantly, an active relationship with the music. Take this progressive class and learn this fun and unique style of dance.
